PETER SHAW -

It was the mark of Greg's character, how readily he endeared himself to our ride group in the short time each of us knew him. One of the strongest & fastest riders in the group, Greg would often drop back through the peloton in support & companionship of the tail enders during our regular Saturday morning rides through the Adelaide Hills and surrounds. His unexpected death has left us shocked & profoundly saddened. Greg had an abundance of emotional intelligence as well as a fine intellect. Apart from pacing him hard on our rides, it was always a highlight to sit around the Mediterranean Cafe with Greg after a ride, drinking coffee, chatting & having lots of laughs. I was looking forward to many more rides together in our soon to be new Mediterranean cycling kit. Sadly this is not to be. I miss him very much but I will always retain the image of his beaming cheeky smile. He truly was one of natures gentlemen.
