Dear Hans, Sharon, Simone and Graeme, Roger and Noelene and your families, Sending you all love and hugs at this time. Your mum’s passing marks the end of an era. It is so hard to say goodbye to those we love. I’m not sure you ever get over the loss, it’s more that we learn to live with the loss. I found Ingrid to be such a bubbly, happy and positive person, she always left me smiling. My parents were such great lifelong friends with you all, there were so many parties, fishing trips and get togethers. They shared such love and respect for each other, they were so fortunate to have had that kind of friendship. I wish I could come down in person to mark my family’s respects for Ingrid but I’m not able to so I will attend the online service. Sending love and hugs, Sue Vetma Lilli and Hans Wald

Omi was a beautiful lady with a kind and open heart and made me feel like a loved and welcome addition to the family from day 1. I will miss her warmth and her smile and her cheeky laugh and know that she will leave a big whole in the lives of many. All my thoughts and love are with her friends and family today, she was a treasure beyond measure and I wish I was there to celebrate her amazing life with you all. Sending my love, Cherie.

Mum, you were such a sweet, loving and kind woman, you were always smiling and genuinely happy all the time. You were also the strength in our family, as well as the pacemaker and made sure we found the positives and light of any situation. It was a pleasure and privilege to care for you, to be by your side, mum, through this horribly unbearable stage of your life. To offer you dignified comfort and love was my top priority, as you gave me, Roger and Simone throughout our years. I find it surreal that you’re no longer with us but I hope you have found peace and serenity with the rest of your family in heaven. I love you very much mum and will miss you terribly. Sharon. XX
