Passed away peacefully at
St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney
on 26th March 2021.

Dearly loved husband of
Rosemary Milisits OAM.

Devoted and loving father of
Simon and Jane,
and Alison and Adrian.

Dearly loved grandfather of
Joshua and Laura, and Luke.

Dearly loved son of Terez and
Istvan Milisits (both deceased).

Dearly loved brother of Joe (deceased)
and Paula Milisits; Ilonka (deceased) and
Vencel Mekler; Olga Madura (deceased);
Ali (deceased) and Maria Milisits;
Hedvig and John Geraly;
Steve Milisits;
and their families.

Dearest brother-in-law of
Helen and Brian,
Raymond (deceased),
and Janet and Robert,
and their families.

Vili will be forever loved,
remembered and respected
by all his family, many friends,
and his loyal staff both in
Australia and overseas.

The family wishes to sincerely
thank the doctors and nurses,
and especially Pauline, for their
extraordinary care, and the staff of
the Royal Adelaide Hospital, the
Calvary Adelaide Hospital, and
St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.

The family also sincerely thanks
the staff of the South Australian
Ambulance Service and the
Royal Flying Doctor Service,
and especially Jodie.

A state memorial service to
celebrate the life of the late Vilmos “Vili”
Milisits OAM will take place at 3.30pm on
Friday, 30 April 2021 at the
Adelaide Festival Theatre, doors open
from 3.00pm.

Family, friends, colleagues and members
of the public are invited to attend.

I had the true honour and privilege of knowing Vili both professionally and personally. Despite his many and impressive successes in life, he was, to me, a very humble man who never took himself seriously and was always interested in the betterment of his fellow human beings. May he rest in peace in God's loving hands and care.
