Uncle Brian was a one off . When he wanted to marry Vera , he asked my mother’s permission in London . He promised he would look after her and bring her back to Ireland at some point . She greatly admired him for keeping his promises . He was always kind/ gentle and interested in others . He will be sadly missed and my thoughts are with you all at this sad time .

Veronica, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today. I was sorry not to be there in person, but with the livestream it felt like I was. What a wonderful celebration of Brian's life the funeral mass was.
