Hello Rachel and Leah. I knew Michael for over 30 years. I too was a piano/vocalist and played a lot as a duo with Michael, mainly at the Lakes Resort Hotel. We had some really great times together and we were good personal friends who helped each other in our ups and downs of life. I am very saddened to hear the news of his death. If I still lived in Adelaide I would certainly be attending his funeral. My deepest sympathy to you both.

A great musician and a good friend for many years. We had some fun times listening to old 45 records when Matt and I first bought our house. As we now live interstate we hadn't seen Michael for a few years but often talk about the old days in Adelaide. Thoughts are with those who were close to him.

I went to Taperoo high school with Michael, and he was an inspirational musical talent for me. His musicianship influenced me, so much so that I too became a professional pianoman/singer, and headed to the Gold Coast to forge a career. I would have loved to have just half of Michael's talent. We caught up a few times in the last few years which was a real joy. If it is not too painful to talk about, can someone let me know what happened as he had not told me was ill. Thank you and my deepest sympathy to all his Family.

I met Michael in the late 70’s when he worked for John Martins advertising dept. He was a great mate from all those years gone by, then we recently caught up again about 5 years ago & picked up where we left off. We’ve enjoyed many lunches & catch ups since then Michael was a fantastic talented man who will be sadly missed by all. Condolences to Leah & Rachel. Kind Regards Tim Seal & Family

Michael, Matt and I played at the West Lakes Resort Hotel many years ago. Michael and Matt played the Piano Bar and weekday lunches in the Bistro whilst I played the Bistro Friday and Saturday nights. As Piano/Vocalists we were also in a group of other professional Piano/Vocalists who helped each other out. They were really great times with like minded friends and I will always cherish those fun filled days. Michael was a constant source of ideas and was always very proud to be an innovative and accomplished musician. He looked after his family, looked out for his friends and always had a smile and a positive outlook on life. A true gentleman and a good friend. Michael, You are and will be missed. Rob
