I have fond memories of Cousin Rory during those early days in Adelaide when we drove over from Sydney for family Christmases. We had fun times together, and I was in awe of his expertise on the Meccano sets. In later years, I saw Rory in Brisbane and we contacted each other regularly, so I was able to learn a great deal about our family's Heritage. Rory was a lovely bloke; a fine and honourable man, who loved being a husband, a father and a grandfather. He is deeply missed. My condolences go to Jill and the family.

Rory was a man of both integrity and expertise. We found him to be always upright and honest in his dealings with us, and always approachable for advice. We will miss him.

Motor Sport Luncheon Group Rory was a regular and enthusiast member of our monthly catch up. He arrived early, ordered a beer, and started a conversation with someone he knew little about. A delightful personality, enquiring mind and a fountain of knowledge. He enjoyed the lunches as we did his company. Though we are saddened by his passing we were blessed knowing him. Our thoughts are with Jill and his family. Members of the 60’s and 70, Motor Sport Luncheon Group

Douglass Potts -

Rory was my senior by four years. When he was 18 he rewired my MG TA and then my father's HRG. He was never out of my life either during the motor racing days or the Society of Automotive Engineers days -- the last two decades as a fellow consulting engineer. His most recent promotion of the low volume vehicle industry will stand as firm ground upon which to build it. A sad loss and heartbreakingly sad to his family who he adored and of whom he was so proud. Douglass Potts

Having met Rory through business. He was always willing to help. Always friendly. Assisted with information that furthered our business when others may not have. He has helped us to where we are today. He will be sadly missed.
