With deep sadness in writing this for my dear friend. You were caring, selfless, warm and a special friend, daughter, aunty to all. We didnt see each other often but when we did it we always picked up where we left last time. My condolences to your family as you will be sorely missed for those lucky enough to have met you. R.I.P Alexandra.

Although I only knew you for a short time dahling Alex you will always have a special place in my heart my EXTRA friend! Your verve for life was akin to my own and I felt we were kindred spirits I’m so happy we got to share space in Auckland with all the “crew” Cheers to all the bubbles, the laughter, those AhmaZing ice balls, celebrating Vicky’s 60th, dancing, keeping an eye out for Mt Wellington - LOL!!! So very thankful to have had a little bit of Alex in my life. I feel your vivacious indomitable spirit and light surrounding us all. Fly high sweet girl. Forever in our hearts RIP Alex I love you Barb xo

It's a shock to have someone who has always shined so bright and full of life to be taken from us far too soon. Whenever we were together there was always some new tidbit to share, or idea to plot and scheme about, in the most mischievous of ways. I'm going to miss you, Alex, and all the mad ideas we talked about - the ones we managed to carry out, and especially the ones we hadn't gotten around to yet. The world is less bright for those of us who knew and loved you.

A beautiful spirit taken too soon. Sincere condolences to your family and friends. Love a kiwi mate. There’s a super shining star in our skies now

Alex, you had that wonderful ability to light up any room into which you entered. As a work colleague you were talented, passionate and hardworking - and fun! You loved to enjoy life. As a Passionate Port Power supporter (which I could never understand ?), i loved the rivalry when we caught up for the Brisbane Port games in Qld. Taken too soon. You are sorely missed. May you rest in peace. Sincere condolences to family and friends.

I’m wearing the gold shoes you got me. I will continue to consult you on all fashion choices and I’m sure you will somehow show me a sign if you approve or not. Anytime Eminem plays I will know you are with me, screaming the lyrics beside me. You’re on my team up there now and you have got some work to do!! Time to put those organisational skills to good use lady! I know you will be partying up a storm and reunited with all of your friends who went before you. They must be so happy to have you back with them, even though we are heart broken that you’re gone from us. Love you forever, Alex. Elise xxx

The day you graced this world, it became a little brighter. Much like the day we first met, you lit up my world. Now we live in a time where it is a little shaded. By my life is lit for you being in it. Love you with all my heart. Miss you.

Although our time was short, it was special and you taught me so much. Thank you for being in my life and being so unapologetically you. Rest in Peace.

Forever beautiful, hilarious and insightful: you will always live in our hearts and be with us. You will continue to affectionately be known as Aunty Alex in our home, and we will cherish and honour all of the precious moments we were blessed to have with you. No words can possibly express our love or sense of loss, so will simply say thank you, farewell and we love you xoxo
