Beloved husband of Kathy for 54 years.
Beloved father of Rasma, and Kristian and Anne.
Beloved grandfather of Steph and Maddie.
Much loved brother, uncle, and friend to many.
We are forever richer for having you
in our lives and you will be forever missed by all of us.

Andrejs’ Funeral Service
will take place entirely in the
Mawson Chapel, Centennial Park ,
760 Goodwood Road, Pasadena,
on Monday, June 19, 2023, from 12:30 p.m.

Andrej! One large Latvian oak tree has lost a big branch! This branch is you! So suddenly! And there is huge sadness and emptiness... But - You have left behind so much - a whole forest! ...And the birds will sing in the tree branches, and we will hear You! And your sincerity and smile will not disappear in our memories!
Our deepest condolences to Kathy, Rasma, Kristian and Anne on the sudden loss of a beloved husband and father. Sincere sympathy to Andrej's sister Ieva, his brother-in-law Terry, nephew Marc and niece Kate.
Andrejs, I remember so well … that sunny day when your mother brought out a basket of pīragi, fuelling our Chemistry revision session! and then, taking time off from our studies to watch 'Ashes & Diamonds' & 'Do No'; your tales of mineral exploration in the Pilbara & adventures in Darwin; conversations around the table with the Sorority girls & cabarets at Latvian House. Come this Jāņu Nakts / St. John's Night, leap through the bonfire and dance amongst the stars: we will be watching.
