Carissima mamma, you have been our matriarch
and our pillar of strength throughout our lives.
You have always been there for us,
leading us through the good times and the bad,
and we are eternally grateful for the love
that you have given all of us.
You embraced every new addition to our family
with open arms and your loving heart
and looked on with pride as our family grew.
You always said that you were rich in family.
Thank you for teaching us the importance of family
and love beyond compare.
You always worked hard and made many sacrifices
to try and provide the best that you could for us
and for this we are forever grateful.
We will miss your beautiful smile as we walked in the room,
your words of wisdom, and your warm hugs.
Our hearts are broken, but as you slipped away from us,
we knew that you were reaching out to your beloved husband
who you have missed immensely for the last thirty years.
We take comfort in knowing that you are now reunited
with papa in his loving arms and all your loved ones in heaven.
It was truly an honour to care for you in your later years
