Bernard Newport -

Bernard Newport - nephew My earliest memories of Uncle Brian was in the early 70's making wine and squashing grapes, squishing through our toes. Going over for a swim at Mary & Brian's Grattan Street home was always a fun highlight as a child. With a perfect marriage of over 50 years, Brian has always been in my life, always interested, always smiling and that memorable laugh of his which remained throughout his life. And he treated my children the same, creating a bond involving himself in the fun activities that kids love. Tears well when I think of his passing, but I am so lucky to have had such a wonderful supporting man in my life as a mentor, friend, and uncle. I trust and pray the celebration of his life on Thursday will reflect the wonderful positive impact Brian has had on so many people. You remain in my heart and mind, God Bless You Brian Love Bernard

Sincerest Condolences Mary. I can’t believe My favourite birthday twin Brian has left. I’m sure he is sharing tales of wonderful travel adventures especially of Paris and Africa with my beautiful Kosta. Brian always loved that when you went out to grab some bread and milk that you had popped in to see me and organised another terrific travel experience for you both. Thanks for all the wonderful memories Brian, your friendship, patience and kindness. A true gentleman. Lots of Love Sue, Tyler and Rosie xx
