Margaret Giles -

Very dear friend since we met in primary school at Mt Carmel Girls School and we shared many years of close friendship. I was present at her Profession at Baulkham Hills and have always kept close contact with Carmel as I promised her dying mother. She shared many things in my life, including leading the Rosary at my husband's funeral in 2019. I will miss her very much.

Pauline Ginman -

More like a big sister than a cousin to me. I’ll miss our outings and fun times together. You were special to all our family and will be greatly missed.

Marie Smrek(nee Howard) -

Dearest Carmie, our friendship of over 60 years has been a treasure in my life. One not taken lightly. When I reminisce over the various escapades we have shared together in various places where our lives have intertwined, I laugh and smile and once again thank our Good God for His managing of this lifelong gift of friendship, with each other. May you rest in His Love and Peace.

Mary McMahon -

My memories of Carmel are all such happy ones. Carmel your lovely smile, sense of humour and positive attitude was evident even way back as far as your Wingfield and Cheltenham days with Auntie Nell, Uncle Frank and Pauline. I will miss picking up the phone for our long and interesting conversations. Rest in The Lord’s Peace as you so deserve.

Kath & Mike Fenton -

Condolences to all Cousins, especially Sr Catherine & Pauline on the death of Carmel and to all Carmel 'Sisters' of St Joseph, RSJ Great memories we have to hold (including the privilege of attending Carmel Profession in Sydney with Pauline). Carmel's Mass livestreamed has been a most memorable Service. Thanks to all who made this possible for us who are unable to travel & be present today. RIP Carmel.
