Daniel’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated entirely in
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 420 Seaview Road, Henley Beach,
on WEDNESDAY, January 28, 2026, commencing at 2:00 p.m.
Daniel’s family invite you to wear a splash – or a lot – of colour.
The Mass will also be broadcast via livestream.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Cancer Council.

the passing of our beloved Dan,
Danny-Pete, Dad, Danny Boy,
who passed away peacefully on 14th January 2026.
Dearly loved and loving husband of Gail.
Treasured and devoted father of Mike, Tim and Kate,
and loved and loving father-in-law of Anita.
Adored grandfather of Andrew, Lily, Ryan, Liam and Matthew.

A real gentleman, Dan was compassionate, kind, considerate and sincere. He always had a kind word and was a true family man who lived out his faith. It was a pleasure to have known him.
Thanks so much Dan for those hilarious times at the pub, on a houseboat, at a dinner party or BBQ and at school! You loved having fun, but, when you worked, you worked. Such a hard worker who looked after your colleagues as well. Rest peacefully with your God, Dan. We will miss you. xx
Dan was a kind and caring person who made our Parish at Dernancourt a place of welcome for everyone. I have many happy memories of time spent with Dan and Gail. Through them we met Peter and Val Hallett and formed a bond with them. My love goes out to Gail, Mike, Tim, Kate, and grandchildren. Rest In Peace Dan

Fond memories of our time in Maitland reacquainting with Dan, Gail and family after teaching together at Elizabeth Boys Tech. Camping in the school holidays in the Flinders Ranges and playing golf with Dan at Mount Osmond Golf Club. Love to Gail and family.
Heartfelt condolences and love and prayers to dear Gail Mike Tim and Kate and all your extended family on the loss of dear Dan. What beautiful memories I have of growing up as a teenager then into adulthood sharing so many fun times with you all ~ Dan always being loving and hospitable- and wise counsel when needed and then you all embraced and adored Sean who loved you all.
