THE FUNERAL MASS for the late TONY DE CHELLIS will be celebrated  ENTIRELY in

St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 59 Newton Road, Newton,

on MONDAY, January 29, 2024, commencing at 11:00 a.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the

Hospital Research Foundation for cancer research would be appreciated.

Born 2nd September 1937, in Pacentro, L’Aquila, Italy.

Passed away peacefully at home in Adelaide in the presence of his loving family on

17th January 2024, aged 86 years.

 

Loving and adored husband of Josie De Chellis for 61½ years.

 

Loved and devoted father of Marco De Chellis.

Respected and devoted father-in-law of Lavinia De Chellis.

Cherished and loved nonno of Giorgia De Chellis.

 

Loved son of Clicerio De Chellis and Anna Pacella,

and loved brother and brother-in-law of

Giuseppe and Alberina, Pierina and Tony (all deceased)

and Lucia and Berardino (deceased).

 

Loved foster son of Carmine and Bambina Di Marzio,

and loved foster brother and brother-in-law of

Nunziatina Di Marzio, Albert and Mary Di Marzio,

and John and Elsie Di Marzio (all deceased).

 

Loved son-in-law of Nicola and Emilia Vozzo (both deceased).

Loved brother-in-law of Rocco and Debbie Vozzo,

Don (deceased) and Nicki Vozzo, and John Vozzo.

 

Forever loved uncle, great uncle, and cousin to many, and will be dearly missed

by family and friends in Australia, Italy, the USA and Canada.

 

The family would like to sincerely thank Doctors Joe Montarello, Maria Santos,

Amy Hsheih, Matthew Lawrence, and Spiro Arkadianos, the team at Icon Oncology,

Central Adelaide Palliative Care Team, the nurses from RDNS,

Tony’s personal carers, SA Ambulance Service, and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

 

We would also like to thank all of Tony’s dearest friends

who supported him during his illness.
