Deane’s Funeral Mass will be offered in

St Ignatius Catholic Church, cnr Queen and William Streets,

Norwood on THURSDAY 18 December 2025 at 10:00 a.m.

 

Following Mass, the Committal Service will take place in the

Catholic H Section of Centennial Park Cemetery, 760 Goodwood Road, Pasadena.

Born Wednesday 29 December 1937.

Passed away Saturday 8 November 2025.

Aged 87 Years.

 

Loved and loving son of

John Francis (Jack) and Olive Mary O’Brien

(both deceased).

Deane was a spectacular cousin, and unique. Deane was a ‘local Norwood identity’ well known by many at meetings, cafes and engaging with one and all. He will be missed by his family and many others. Norwood and the world is a lesser place without him. Now at Peace and reunited with his family.
