Hi Deb and family Sad to hear the passing of your Dad. I have great memories of working with Brian at Port Adelaide CIB. He will be sadly missed. He had a great innings reaching 92 despite a stroke in the middle of his career.
My mentor in the early days at Norwood CIB. Fondly remembered. Rest in peace Brian. My condolences to his family.
A true gentleman who I have known since I was a little kid at Prospect Police Station. My condolences. The memories will remain.
Brian was one of the very first Patrol Sergeants I reported to as a young 20 year old in 1965. An absolute gentleman who managed to look after me and keep me out of trouble.

it was a pleasure to have him as my d/serg at Norwood in the 70s.
Brian was a wonderful man who mentored so many young police officers and detectives during their careers– and I was one of them. I was honoured and privileged to have presented the police eulogy and Police Ode at his funeral, where with Graham Bawden and Rob Maggs I passed on our condolences to Brian’s family and friends on behalf of all members of the wider ‘detective’ police family. RIP Brian – always highly respected, a great detective sergeant and lovely man in every respect. John White
