I will miss my enjoyable brother-in-law, we did so many amazing things together, like rabbit hunting with those big traps along the karoonda highway, and each time we went back we had to go further along the highway because the rabbits knew we were coming.and then skinning them b4 going home. The best thing with Eugene was his easy going manner, he never seemed to get upset with me, so when we went crabbing it was the best fun ever. We caught quite a few and then we lit a fire under the tub he had brought and we ate till we were full Yes we had a great time together we miss him
Eugene & his late wife were neighbours & friends from the School & Church community for around 40 years My late husband Peter & Eugene were fishing buddies & worked together for St Vincent DePaul They were both Aussie larrikins & we had many good times & lots of laughs together sharing stories with a few beers & champagne

My old friend since 1952. We schooled together, played together and worked together in our teen years. The many great times with our Sunday cycling adventures, crabbing days at St Kilda, the competitive stamp collecting, home brew, so many wonderful memories. Farewell my good friend.
