Paul Jeffs -

Father Peter, you were a gentle soul who gave great comfort to souls in your care at Mt. Gambier Parish. I enjoyed my talks with you on a personal level. Bless you. Kindest Thoughts Paul Jeffs

Aileen Kenseley -

With gratitude for Fr. Peter’s years of bringing Mass and the Sacraments to the South East Parishes - especially during his retirement years in Mount Gambier.

Jo Rayson -

Fond memories of the nine years Father Peter spent with us at Keith. Special memory of his kindness and thoughtfulness during the illness and death of my husband, May he rest in peace.

Katie Cranfield -

May Reverend Father Peter Fountain Rest In Peace. Father Peter was a first-cousin to my Granny (Perth, WA). Father Peter’s father Pat was a brother of my Granny’s father. So, Father Peter’s paternal grandparents were my great-great-grandparents. My condolences and love to all the family in Adelaide. Love from Katie Cranfield

Louise Johnson -

Father Peter was the Parish Priest at St James church in Keith as my children were growing up and I worked with him to help the children prepare for sacraments. He was hard working, devoted to his ministry and looked after the pastoral care of his parishioners to the best of his ability. I respected Fr Peter and was happy to support him as he did with us. RIP Fr Peter, you served your God well.

Mallee Border Parishioners -

RaeleneO’Driscoll, Marjorie Schroeder and Glenys Boseley have just watched the lovely service for Fr Peter at the cathedral. We wish to add our condolences to Fr Peter’s family and his fellow priests on the passing of such a devoted and caring priest.
