I wish to express my sympathy to all the Fitzpatrick family on the death of Gerald. I first met Gerald and Mary Carmen at a Fitzpatrick gathering at his home in Tullineasky in 1977. My aunt Alice was married to his brother Patrick. Gerald and Mary Carmen always called to visit my parents Michael and Elinor every time they came on a visit to Ireland. Our friendship grew even closer after a three day visit to his and Mary Carmen’s home in Adelaide with my brother Richard in 2012. It was a great pleasure to have know Gerald. He was a warm and kind person and a gentleman. May he rest in peace.
Our condolences to to you Mick and Beth, Dan and Jack and the Fitzpatrick family on the passing of Gerald. May this day be in honour of his great spirit ! Cheri and Stephan
