Gerard’s Funeral Liturgy will take place entirely at
the Church of the Nativity, 26 Sunnymeade Drive, Aberfoyle Park
on MONDAY, November 24, 2025, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
Refreshments will follow.
The Liturgy will also be broadcast via livestream.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the kind of impact one person can have, and you were that rare kind of soul who helped shape my life. You weren’t just a mentor, you were a second father. Your door was always open, your smile always real, your hugs always safe. You gave love freely, but you also never shied away from telling me the hard truths I needed to hear. Those lessons carried me from my late teens right through to my twenties, and they still shape who I am today. You believed in me long before I learned how to believe in myself. That sort of guidance becomes part of a person’s bones. Thank you for every moment, every tough conversation, every gentle nudge, and every bit of wisdom you shared with me.

Our condolences and sympathy to Jayne, Mary and the rest of Yogi’s family. We apologise for not being able to attend his funeral today but we are sure the old Roxby family gave him a farewell he was truly deserving of.
