Passed away on August 3, 2025,
aged 89 years.

Jessica and Matt, Caitlin and Luke, Alexander,
Brittany and Thomas, Jayden and Alana.
Proud great-grandpa of
Daisy, Angelo, Emilio, Noah and Eloise.
Will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

The Torrens Rowing Club passes on their sincere condolences to Aileen and John's family and friends. John was an inspirational past Captain and life member of the Club, a winning lightweight and senior oarsman. He was stroke of the 1961 Penrith Cup State lightweight four crew. John was also a driving force in the development of the West Lakes regatta course. A significant, and much admired member of the South Australian rowing community.
