Liz’s Funeral Service and Life Celebration will be held entirely in
St Aloysius Catholic Church, 68 Brooker Tce, Richmond on
TUESDAY, April 22, 2025 commencing at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either
The Mary Potter Foundation or Rare Cancers Australia would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully with us by her side
on April 13th, aged 54 years.
Now at peace, leaving us with wonderful cherished memories.
You will forever be in our hearts and thoughts every day.
We were so blessed to have such a beautiful daughter in our lives.
Brave and loving, she dedicated her life to her family, friends
and those she nursed and cared for.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr Sid Selva-Nayagam and amazing staffs at
Kimberley House, St Helen’s Ward and the ICU team at RAH.

Sending my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. I worked with Lizzie for many years in Sydney and will always remember how kind she was to all that she met. I will also remember her laughter and how she always managed to make the day brighter. She will be missed xxx
My deepest condolences to the Shoolbread Family. My friendship with Liz started back at the QEH in the HDU (4A) where the team called me "Bluey" (Blue Dot on Badge as a GNP). Liz was very kind to me a taught me many valuable lessons both work and life related! She was an amazing nurse, and I always looked forward to working with her as she would make the shift fly by as she injected her humour and fun into the day. I will miss the way she would say "ohhh Bluey" when I messed up and will always smile when I think of her. You were brave, inspiring and amazing Liz. We will miss you xxxx

Thinking of you all as you navigate this sad time. Although Liz’s life was cut far too short, I know she certainly squeezed every bit out of it. Liz was an outstanding nurse but more-so I admired her courage, stamina and grace as she navigated her health battles. Always able to see the positive, truly inspirational and still able to see the bright side. It was an absolute privilege and pleasure to know you. You will be so greatly missed, by so many, Lizzie! Every time I raise a glass of bubbles or hear Kylie I will think of you darling girl! Fly high my friend xx
