Mary McEvoy -

My dearest Des and Family It is with a very heavy heart and the greatest sadness that I received your very sad news of your darling Loyse’s death and send our deepest sorrow, condolences, love and prayers for Loyse’s eternal rest and for comfort for you Des and all the Family. Loyse was my dearest friend of 55 years after meeting through our work at the Rubber Mills, she as Secretary and I as Comptometer Operator in 1967 working in the same office. We shared many happy moments and i so remember the twinkle in her eye and her beautiful smile. Loyse was a beautiful “Lady” Since leaving Australia for the UK in December 1968, Loyse never missed, writing a letter to us, each Christmas, by hand, no email nonsense!!!, keeping us up to date with the Family news and how we looked forward to receiving those letters. One exception was last Christmas when you dear Des were allowed to send us an email, still very gratefully received. My dearest wish was to visit Loyse and you Des and all the Family and that was to come true this coming November, to my great delight. By last week end all bookings were finalised and i was ready to contact you to finally arrange my visit. Sadly I will not be able to see my dear friend Loyse but I will visit in November to see you and the Family Des to hug you and spend some time with you and visit dear Loyse’s grave God bless and keep you and give you strength especially tomorrow. I will be with you in spirit and will watch the live stream Much love to all Mary and Family x
