Hello Meryl, Warren here, remembering the good times we shared when we were growing up. Us four kids, playing tennis down the backyard, you and me against Brian and Denis. Fishing in the Baron River down the road. Sometimes, when we caught a fish, we'd take our catch home and Dad would cook it, I don't know what dad thought of our fish, but that's what Dad's do for their kids. You used to let me ride your scooter when my motorbike was playing up and I needed to go to Cairns. What about that mishap you had on the swing down by the river, when you didn't let go of the rope swing at the right time and landed on a sharp rock, you got a big cut in your leg and had to have stitches. Meryl, you will be greatly missed by your brother Brian and Joan, your brother Denis, Sandra and I, and all our families. Goodbye from your brother Warren.
My thoughts are with Meryl’s family today as they reflect on her life. I hope the service is a time for smiles as well as tears. Love and hugs, Naomi
