Sister Patricia’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in
St Joseph’s Convent Chapel, 286 Portrush Road, Kensington
on TUESDAY, 27 January 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
Following refreshments, the Committal Service
will follow at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Blythewood Road, Mitcham.
The Funeral Mass will be available by livestream.

Aged 96 years.
A remarkable woman ahead of her time
and a much loved member of the
Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart.
Loving daughter of Marian and Leo (both deceased).
Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Mary and Kevin (deceased),
Anthony and Pauline (both deceased), and Bernadette.
Much loved aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

cared for Patricia, especially all staff at Eldercare – The Lodge.

I remember Sister Angela visiting the farm with many missionary friends. She stood out as a well respected and important part of her community. Condolences to her family and may she rest in peace.

My ‘Aunty Pat’ was the hippest nun there ever was. She enjoyed a beer and was down to earth, direct and always kind to me, the youngest of the Morrison seven kids. I always felt at ease around her and saw the strong resemblance to my father, Tony. Her years working in the aboriginal communities in Kununurra are only one example of her strength and commitment to helping people. She also specialised in making an excellent tall sponge cake. Good one Aunty Pat.
Angela was an inspirational woman and a loyal friend. I treasure my time with her in the Kimberley and over the years catching up with her in Sydney, South Australia and showing her Ireland. And I loved her cheese cakes! Deep sympathy to her sisters and her nieces and nephews. Angela enjoy many conversations in heaven.
