I met Rod Kershaw in 1990 early on in my career, his influence on me and my career was significant, I’m not sure how to thank someone who helped me so much to help others in a positive way other than to say the values and knowledge you gave me was never taken for granted or overlooked. May you RIP Sir and rest proudly having contributed so much for so many people, often those you may have never even met! You are dearly missed Rod Kershaw!
Simply the best, over 60 years of friendship. Will miss you mate. Our thoughts are with Pam and her family.
Remembering a wonderful man who in my mind exemplifies 'service to others' at every level. A kind and thoughtful man who will be surely missed. Very supportive of many people including myself, particularly 20 years ago. Rest in peace.
In remembrance of Rod Kershaw ASM. I first met Rod nearly 20 years ago in the early days of the Road Trauma Support Group - his energy and genuine desire to support the families of those who lost their lives on our roads is a lasting legacy. Rod lived a life of love for his family and service to the community, especially in his various roles with St John Ambulance and SAAS. The book of Proverbs reminds us that the memory of a good person is a Blessing and we can thank God for Rod's life, his example and friendship praying that he may enjoy eternal peace. I extend heartfelt sympathy to Pam and the family and to Rod's friends and colleagues.
Rod... You were such a gentle, kind and caring person. You will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with Pam, Nicky, Corey, Crystal & Trish at this time. Reunited with Jamie.
I was saddened to hear of the loss of this gentleman and fellow Officer., I worked alongside him for a number of years while a member of St John, and had a great deal of respect for his attention to detail, his professionalism, and the kind way he treated everyone and his willingness to listen to others.
Dear Pam and Family. We feel your grief on loosing Dear Rod. Over many years Rod demonstrated to Noel how commitment and compassion to ambulance service delivery provided the best in patient care and outcomes. RIP Dear Rod, your rest mate has been so well earned - you have left your profession in a much better standard than when you entered. Noel.
