St Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 15 Cross Road, Urrbrae,
on WEDNESDAY, 18 October, 2023, at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Passionist Sisters’ Mission
would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the Church.

Sr Joan was a caring and compassionate person, always there for us in our time of need. She always cared about all of our family and prayed for us daily, as well as visited when she was in town. Dearest Sr Joan, Your life is a precious gift to us. Without you we won't exist as Passionist in India. We are what we are because of you. Thank you so much for your sacrifices, missionary spirit, hard work, selfless service, love, care and concern for each one of us and for the growth of our organism. We miss you so much and love you forever. Rest in peace with all the saints. Continually be with us and guide us through your prayers.
Sr. Joan was my wife Kathy Urban Orel's cousin. Sr. Joan led a very special life. She loved her parents and while they were alive Sr. Joan was a good and loving daughter. After their passing she gave the rest of her life to God by becoming a missionary of the Passionist Order. I'm sure God has a special place for her in heaven. Rest in peace.
