Vincenza’s Funeral Mass in the Tridentine Rite
will be celebrated at
St Laurence’s Catholic Church, 134 Buxton Street, North Adelaide,
on FRIDAY, February 7, 2025, commencing at 10:15 a.m.
Following the Mass, the Committal will take place at
Dudley Park Cemetery, Exeter Terrace, Dudley Park.
The Committal will also be broadcast via livestream.

Born in San Mango Sul Calore, Italy on 3rd November 1925.
Died in Adelaide 27th January 2025.
In her 100th year.

Warm memories of the second grandmother from Australia during the exchange year of 1998-1999 are on my mind. A lively, energetic, and skilled cook, baker, and gardener who truly cared for her loved ones. Nana brightened my stay with her great sense of humor and was always stylish. To all the Martucci family: Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother, Vincenza. She was a very kind, giving, loving, special and wonderful lady. Her trip here to the U.S. with Dominic at Easter, 2015 to meet her first cousin Vincenza - our mother - for the very first time in their lives, brought great joy to our mother, and to all the family here in the Northeast U.S. We all had a wonderful week visiting with Vincenza and Dominic, and were very sorry to see them leave. We will never forget our mother Vincenza's beautiful - in so many ways - cousin Vincenza from Australia. Thank you ALWAYS Vincenza (and Dominic) for making that very special visit for our mother. May Vincenza rest in eternal peace and light with her husband Guido, and all her deceased Prizio family members as well. They are all together once again. With the most heartfelt sincerity, and through our sadness.....we are wishing peace, comfort, and love to all the Martucci family in Australia. So kind to Rose and the Donaldson family. Legendary gardener, generous with soup and coffee and biscuits, sturdily independent, Vini was one of the characters of Prospect, indeed of Adelaide. A strong life well remembered.

The passing of Mrs Martucci (as we knew her) marks the end of an era. Over the many years that we knew her, she was always present in our lives. I was very sad to hear about the passing of your Mum, Nonna, Vincenza, she lived a long and memorable life and rose to all the challenges with grace and dignity.
