In addition to her amazing professional achievements (except anyone who knew her was not amazed, it was more ‘of course’), Dr Marie Foale was an aunty to countless nieces and nephews, of whom I am one. I was read to, sent birthday cards, remembered and included. I will remember with love. Rest in peace, Aunty Ree

Congratulations on such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony to farewell Marie. I send condolences from all the Foale cousins in the West. A life of giving and loving so well lived!

It was partly Sr Marie's research and writing about St Mary MacKillop and the beginnings of the Congregation that deepened my knowledge and love for Mary MacKillop. She was a classy author and all should be very grateful.
